Update to Nevada Home Deliveries March 28, 2020

We will no longer be regularly updating when our menus are closing as we have over the last week. When placing an order for delivery, please double-check whether or not the menu of your choice displays "open" under the delivery option. While we will continue to be on a next-day delivery model, we have been able to streamline our operations over the last week to allow us to complete more deliveries than before. Additionally, some of our retail partners who we provide menus for are fulfilling their own deliveries and therefore manage their own delivery hours. Thank you for your patience and support as we continue to navigate this unprecedented situation.

Update to Nevada Home Deliveries March 26, 2020

We are currently at our operational capacity for all home delivery in Nevada and have turned off our menus for the day. They will reopen at 10am tomorrow for orders to be delivered the following day.

We want to remind everyone to please allow medical patients the opportunity to order their medicine through our menus from 10am-11am.

We are currently at our operational capacity for all home delivery in Nevada and have turned off our menus for the day. They will reopen at 10am tomorrow for orders to be delivered the following day.

Update 3:30pm March 24, 2020

In this difficult time, all of us need a little help from our friends and neighbors. Starting tomorrow, we're asking that you leave the hour between 10am-11am open to medical patients to purchase medication on our Nevada menus. Due to our increased level of orders and our current operational capacity, we have only been able to keep our menus open for a limited time each day for the last week. In an effort to prioritize those who depend on cannabis to relieve chronic symptoms, we are asking that you wait to place your order after 11am to give preferential treatment to medical cannabis users. Thank you all for your patience as we continue to adjust our processes and systems daily to maintain access to cannabis for thousands of people across the nation, and particularly in our home state of Nevada.

At 10:00am this morning, BlackbirdGo.com experienced an intense spike in traffic (over 1000%); as we scaled our servers to be able to handle the increased volume, some users may have experience issues accessing our website. This has now been remedied, and should not happen in the future. We are shifting parts of our operation and service hourly to continue to do everything in our power to provide access to cannabis across the country but particularly in the state of Nevada as cannabis retailers have been required to shift to delivery-only. Thank you so much for your understanding and your patience as we work out the kinks in this rapidly changing environment.

Effective immediately, all home deliveries in Nevada will be moved to next-day delivery for all orders being placed until further notice. You will receive a text message with a two-hour window of when we expect to complete your order, and another one with a more specific ETA when we're on the way to your door. We are experiencing a significant surge in home delivery orders and we are doing everything in our power to maintain our operations and continue to provide access to cannabis to everyone in our community. Please be patient with us as we continue to navigate this rapidly evolving situation.

Due to the response to COVID-19 we are experiencing an extreme increase in traffic. At this point in time, we are not able to honor our typical two-hour delivery window. We are moving to same-day delivery for all deliveries currently being placed. We will update you on the status of your delivery as we are able to process them. We are doing everything in our power to maintain our operations and to continue to bring #CannabisToYou in this moment of uncertainty. COVID-19 Statement March 13, 2020

To our valued customers,

One of Blackbird’s core values is that our people are everything. The health and wellbeing of our staff, our clients, and our communities are of the utmost importance to us. We want to ensure everyone that we are closely monitoring the current COVID-19 (Coronavirus) outbreak in Nevada, California, and nationwide. We are following all recommendations put forth by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), the World Health Organization (WHO), as well as all state, county, and city governments in Nevada and California

To mitigate the potential spread of the coronavirus we are dedicating our efforts to ensure our locations and vehicles are disinfected daily. We ask for you to take our drivers’ health and safety into consideration when ordering your cannabis to be delivered and to take the necessary steps to protect yourselves and those around you. We are considering all local, state, and national health agency recommendations to support employees staying home when they are sick. We are also taking assertive action to send our staff home should they develop symptoms while working. Blackbird has always offered paid time-off to all of our employees, minimizing the financial burden associated with missing work due to being sick. 

While we expect to be short-staffed as this situation develops and employees need to take time off either for themselves or to take care of their loved ones; at this point in time, we are not changing our operations. We ask for you to be patient with us in the coming weeks as deliveries and general operations may be slower than usual. 

You can rest assured that we will maintain constant communication with our staff and all of our clients should anything change.
