Blazy

Blackbird collaborated with Reno Designer, Georgy Blanco, on a new project for Summer 2017. The collection consists of two t-shirt designs. Both hand-printed and sewn by Georgy in Reno, Nevada.

The lookbook featuring Georgy Blanco's designs was shot at the remains of what was once the Wildflower Village— a quirky motel with high school art teacher vibes on the old U.S. 40. Originally the Silver Spur motel, Wildflower's most recent iterations included a wedding chapel, coffee shop, gallery space and even a bar. Since this shoot, Wildflower has been demolished to make way for an apartment complex.
