What is BlackbirdGo?

BlackbirdGo is an online marketplace that lists retailers and brands from which you can order cannabis. Feel free to read our detailed guide on How it Works.

How do I create an account?

In order to sign up for an account, simply click the ‘Sign Up’ button in our main navigation. Once you click Sign Up, you will be prompted to provide some information about yourself. Please reference the following Help Guide with step-by-step instructions on how to create an account.

Account Verification

Once you have created an account, our internal team will review the provided methods of identification and approve the account. Until your account is verified, it will remain in a ‘Pending’ status, where you can browse, but not order from menus. If your account verification is denied, you will be notified via email and will not be able to order until all of the necessary identification is uploaded and can be verified by our team. Please note, some retailers will still allow you to place in-store pickup orders via their online menu if your account is in unverified status. For more detailed instructions/information, check out this Help Guide.

Address Verification

If you intend to receive a delivery order, you must enter an address in your account which will be verified by our team as a valid delivery address. Please note, some retailers will still allow you to place in-store pickup orders via their online menu if your address is unverified or not provided. For more detailed instructions/information, check out this Help Guide.

Accessing Loyalty & Rewards

Some retailers have loyalty programs where users can be awarded points to redeem rewards based on certain activities. You will know if a retailer has a loyalty program if you see the trophy icon  on their menu. Clicking this will allow you to view your point balance and reward eligibility, and even enroll in their loyalty program if you have not yet. For more detailed instructions/information, check out this Help Guide.

To place an order, you must be located in a city that we service. You choose the retailer you would like to place an order with, add items to cart and proceed to checkout. For more detailed instructions on placing an order, check out this Help Guide.

Cannabis

What is the difference between Indica and Sativa?

Indica strains are commonly associated with more sedative effects. Best for nighttime use in most cases, they may make the user tired and can be used as sleep aids. Sativa strains are associated with creativity and can make the user feel more hyperactive than usual. Read more on the different types of cannabis on our Discover forum.

What is a hybrid?

What are cannabinoids?

Cannabinoids are naturally occurring chemical compounds that develop in the cannabis plant. There are currently over 100 known cannabinoids commonly found in the plant, the most famous being THC and CBD. These cannabinoids are at their highest concentrations in the trichomes of a flowering cannabis plant, but they are usually present throughout all parts of the plant. THC and CBD may be the biggest names in cannabis, but they are not the only compounds found in cannabis. Read more on cannabinoids on our Discover forum.

What are terpenes?

Terpenes are aromatic compounds produced by plants. These pleasant-smelling compounds occur naturally in many plants, including fruits and flowers, but these same terpenes also exist in cannabis. Any given sample of weed may have a full range of terpenes with varying concentrations, and the combination of those terpenes is what gives each cannabis strain its unique smell and flavor. Read more on terpenes on our Discover forum.

How do you use concentrates?

Concentrates are consumed many different ways. The user can sprinkle kief over flower, insert wax into the chamber of a vaporizer pen, or use a nail and dab rig to smoke concentrates much like the use of a bong. Be careful, as concentrates are very potent!

What is a dab?

Dabbing is a term used to describe the use of concentrated cannabis by vaporizing.
